2008 BMW 323i coding failed with ISTA-P 3.60.2.001

I just updated KLIMA module on that car
programming went ok coding failed tried 2 times same thing.
tried with NCSExpert and error there see attachment
for some reason cant get NCSExpert to work
i installed it on 3 different computers
obviously KLIMA isnt working properly

Is it possible to change a BMW steering wheel?

I have a 2005 BMW E87 120D and it came with a standard wheel with no extra controls for stereo etc.

Is it possible to switch a steering wheel, changing from the standard one to one with stereo controls etc? How tricky of a job is it if it is possible?

Also, it there a retrofit cruise control stork option possible?

HOW TO SETUP ICOM NEXT WIFI.

I know the settings in Icom and router, but still no connection.

Is it possible that the network card from Lenovo X220 is not working with Icom?

Or could someone explain me how to setup this correctly.

E91 Problem Comfort Acces

Hello

After updating the entire car Ista p stopped working comfort access.
The key is recognized because when you approach the car LED light up inside but I can not open or close. The remote control works without a problem, it opens and closes auto. It seems to me that the problem lies at the encoding side, although the option is activated Passive_access.

Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?

Hello i Have problem with electric in BMW E92 330i 2007r.

I have 3 errors in modules :
CAS : D907 Bus_Off
KOMBI : E107 CAN BUS OFF
JBBF : A731 Bi-Stabiles Relais

Sometime i have RED CAR on combi sad.
i Was try everything maybe some one have any helpfull sugestion ??

I was change alternator and new battery AGM.
This dont give positive result sad

F02 2009 NBT retrofit

Hi all,
does anyone retrofitted NBT on 2009 F01/F02 with RSE, reverse camera and front bumper cameras?
Will NBT work with old RSE and also PDC and front camera buttons stop working of new ZBE3 is fitted as their wiring goes to old ZBE?
I was told that I should look for HW07 because of the gyroscope.

E60 iDrive language change

Need some help and instructions here. I mostly work on BMW motorcycles and don't have much experience in car coding.

It is my friends car. E60, 530d from 2003. The car has S869 option, Language version Switzerland, so it has German, French and Italian language.

Which is the easiest way to change the iDrive language to English? I don't need to change the language of the navigation (it has S606 Navigation system Business) only the iDrive.

I have ISTA/P with ICOM Next. If I use ISTA/P do I need MOST also or it can be done via OBD?

HU_NBT2 GPS signal from Receiver instead of ATM

Hi

I have a HU_NBT2 retrofitted, everything works now except TCB and I am unable to get a GPS signal.

From posts I read, my factory nbt comes with a usb3 cable for TCB however nbt2 comes with a new adapter for use with TCB2

I can leave without the telematic communications function as only SOS call is supported at where I am located; problem I would like to solve is the GPS signal as I read nbt2 relies on getting it through ATM - TCB2.

Is there a way to code nbt2 to get its GPS signal from the blue input plug located at the back of it which is dedicated for a GPS receiver, I have connected my factory blue cable to it but is not working looks like it is still waiting signal from ATM.

I have tried setting

SYSTEM_GPS_RECEIVER to aktiv
GPS_FROM_NAVI to not_aktiv
ADAS_GPS to not_aktiv

Hi everyone, i have replaced STML module (used) in a BMW F10 LCI M5 headlight
IstaD asks stml to be coded to the car before it could do initialization.

Could someone to guide me how to code stml to car with esys? or any other way?

Im using enet have latest esys, istaD and bmw tools
Any help appriciated

Can someone explain me how to programm retrofitted CIC in '07 E90? I am trying to program it via comfort mode but WinKfp shows BSU not possible. I can connect to CIC via NCS Expert but I can not programm it to the newest software.

Problem Rear cam view NBT EVO E90

Hi guys, I ask you because I have a problem with the camera backwards since the retrofit of NBT EVO.

After multiple retrofit combox and then NBT, I finally switched on the NBT EVO.

Everything works perfectly well, CarPlay, TV.

It is in ID5, it is a personal choice because I prefer it compared to ID6.

I also want to clarify that I have a Bimmer Retrofit emulator that I used with the NBT.

The problem I encounter today is with the backup camera, the camera appears 2 seconds in black and white, then I have the camera message failing.

Has anyone ever encountered this problem?

The NBT EVO does not support the Chinese camera anymore?

Hi everyone. Looking to get some help on the following codes for a 2015 BMW M3 (F80)

I'm basically looking to see what the codes mean so I can find out exactly what's wrong with the car and what I need to replace.

EPS
0x482394 (4727700) (0xAF)
EPS motor position sensor (steering angle): Loss Multi-turn value
ICM
0xD01B2A (13638442) (0x2F)
Signal (actual position EPS, 51.0.2) invalid transmitter EPS

Also have a fuel system issue after the ISTA programming. They are:
EKPS
0xCED400 (13554688) (0x2F)
No message (delivery quantity, 0x137), receiver EKPS, transmitter DME/DDE
IHKA
0xE71442 (15144002) (0x2F)
No message (status of engine auto start, 0x30B) receiverIHKA, transmit

Setting up WINKFP for E-Chassis Flashing

For those who have a fresh installation of WINKFP and need to setup their configuration file for flashing. I have uploaded a screenshot of the settings I use when flashing with the ICOM and K+DCAN cable.

These settings will work for flashing any module on any E-chassis car. If you have any other errors, it would probably be because the daten/chassis data has not been installed/imported correctly.

Attached is the screenshot for reference.

MINI R56 JCW Thermostat operating temperature

Hi there,

My thermostat failed so I had to change it. In fact, I was not able to monitor the coolant temp and the fan started as soon as I started the car.

I installed a whole new one (thermostat and sensor). However, the thermostat maintains the temperature too hot, about 108°C (226-228F). The fan starts at 108°C (226-228F) and stops at 104°C (219F) when I shut down the engine 30 seconds later at least. It seems to be a common issue because some of thermostat are inaccuracy. They should work at 104-105°C (219-221F). The main issue is that the fan is always running when I'm driving, because of this thermostat that maintains the temperature at 108°C (226-228F).

I don't want to change one more time my thermostat because maybe I will have another one with this problem.

Is there a way to flash/program the ECU to modify the coolant operating temperature ? I mean reducing the operating coolant temp at something like 102°C (215F) to be sure that the fan will not start for no reason.

Dme only firing on one cylinder

Hello guys,
i have a bmw e36 318 M40, i got the car without dme on it so i bought a red rebel dme 0 262 200 520, but when i try to start the car it is only firing on cylinder number 1. spark and fuel injection. i have checked almost all wiring but they seem ok now i think the dme is dead. am thinking of maybe trying to change the transistors responsible for spark and fuel but i dont know which are they, can some one please point me to the right direction....thank you
